Women’s Group – meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays at 7:00 PM for approximately one hour.

The group is open.  If people do not feel they can make it to two meetings a month they will be welcome to come to just one. The group is open to women of all ages and backgrounds and is open to those who do not happen to be members of the congregation

The group will be focused on open discussion of a variety of topics, and can evolve with the group.

If people would like to bring along snacks, it would be welcome.

Men’s Group – meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Office at the Fellowship. The meetings generally include an update of any personal issues affecting those attending in an atmosphere of sharing and support.

Normally, lively discussion breaks out on issues of the day with insightful analysis always present. At most meetings, in true UU style, someone shows up with refreshments.

Special activities have included presentation of a Father’s Day program for the UU Fellowship and a bar-b-que.

Buddhist Unitarian Universalists of Denton Assembly – BUUDA

Meets on first Thursdays of each month at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary at the Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

BUUDA is open to DUUF members, friends, and anyone from the Denton area community. We welcome those with a well established Buddhist practice as well as those looking for an introduction to Buddhism and meditation.

We will read and discuss Buddhist texts, support one another in developing a Buddhist practice, and, perhaps most importantly, we will perform sitting and walking meditation together. No prior meditation experience is necessary. Please do bring a small pillow to sit on. Chairs will be available for those who cannot or do not want to sit on the floor.

Welcome to the Sangha!
