Who We Are

Welcome to DUUF! We are a church that is about genuine inclusion, depth and joy, reason and spirit. We have been a voice of progressive religion in Denton since 1949, working toward a more just and compassionate world in all of what we do. We have been on the forefront of LGBTQ+ initiatives for decades. We hope that when you come here you will be part of our quest for spiritual growth, ethical action, truth-seeking, and improving the community and the world by our actions.

She has a B.F.A. in Related Arts with a concentration in Dance from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Creative Arts/Interdisciplinary Arts from San Francisco State University and a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Video and audio of some of her sermons can be accessed at DUUF Sermon Archive.
