Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is a thriving, dynamic congregation located in the heart of Denton, Texas. We are a loving, diverse, open fellowship that inspires spiritual growth, encourages ethical actions, seeks truth and has a deep commitment to improving the community and the world by our actions. Affectionately called “DUUF”, we welcome people of diverse ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, beliefs, financial means, physical abilities and political affiliations. If you have never been to DUUF, or if you haven’t been in awhile, please let us welcome you at one of our Sunday morning services.
Rev. Pam Wat, Minister
Rev. Pam began as Minister at DUUF in September 2010. Pam has a B.F.A. in Related Arts with a concentration in Dance from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Creative Arts/Interdisciplinary Arts from San Francisco State University and a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to the Fellowship, Pam served as a hospice and hospital Chaplain. She volunteers with OUTreach Denton, a program creating resources for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied people in Denton, and she offers her leadership to local interfaith efforts. She lives in Denton with her spouse Erik and their cats Happy and Ravioli and dog Clyde. Pam enjoys running, reading, and playing ukulele…but not all at once. Video and audio of some of Pam’s sermons can be accessed at DUUF Sermon Archive.
Pam is available by appointment Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (and on other days as scheduled). Her writing days are Wednesdays and her Sabbath days are Fridays. Rev. Pam conducts her in-office business at home. Rev. Pam gladly welcomes appointments at the Fellowship or elsewhere around Denton.email
