Today is National Coming Out Day

National Coming Out Day falls on October 11 each year. It is an observance that recognizes the importance of LGBTQ+ people living in an authentic and open way. Coming Out helps show the entire community that lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and non-binary people exist and that they are fundamentally just like everyone else … human beings that need validation and acceptance, sustenance and shelter, goals and opportunities to grow. DUUF sends it blessings and best wishes to all who celebrate National Coming Out Day!
