Please join us online on Thanksgiving to renew our bonds of friendship and support in this time of isolation and uncertainty. We have a line-up of online activities that promises to be lots of fun. Families, singles, couples, friends, and newcomers all are welcome!
There will be poetry, story time, a craft to do along at home, some humor, and opportunities to chat with each other. Our program will run from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, but we’ll keep the zoom link open after that for people who want to stay connected a bit longer. We encourage everyone to share your family rooms, dining tables, holiday decorations, and youngsters enjoying the festivities at home—or not. Start thinking now about a holiday memory or tradition or something for which you are grateful that you’d like to share at the event.
If you would like participate in the crafts, have handy some paper (construction paper or wrapping paper, and notebook sheets or magazine pages), a paper plate, scissors, string (or twine, yarn, ribbon or thread), some markers, and some adhesive (tape, glue or glue stick).
If time is at a premium, feel free to drop in when you can and leave when you need to go. We hope to see you there!
