Denton Unitarian Fellowship started in 1949 as a small group of people looking for a humanist worship experience for themselves and their children. They began by meeting in homes, and eventually purchased the property at 1111 Cordell Street.
Since then, with the merging of Unitarianism and Universalism, DUUF has continued to grow and establish itself as a place for liberal religion in Denton, Texas. We welcome people of all faith traditions to worship together, as we have grown to be a greater collection of beliefs than just humanism.
