Teams

Lifespan Faith Development Team

The Lifespan Faith Development team offers programs that promotes the spiritual growth of children, youth and adults, and nurtures the religious life of congregation members and their families. The team meets on a regular basis to plan programs and events. If you would like to volunteer of would like additional information, please contact [email protected]

Worship Team

The Worship Team works with the ministers and lay leaders to design Sunday morning services, coordinating music, readings and pulpit guests, as well other aspects of worship programs and other special events. The team meets once a month. The estimated time commitment is 4–6 hours per month. Please contact [email protected] for more information about serving this important effort.

Welcome Team

The Welcome Team is an ad-hoc group that works to promote greater participation in DUUF activities of all sorts. We respond to newcomers and encourage them to return, oversee the Inquirers series, and offer gatherings where newcomers may meet other people. In addition, we provide materials (brochures, handouts, etc.) to introduce UU values and practices, and work with other groups and committees to make the building and our programs accessible and inviting. Finance Team

The Finance team is an ad-hoc group that comes together to review financial matters of the congregation. To volunteer or for more information contact [email protected]

Personnel Team

The personnel team is lead by the vice president of the board who oversees the personnel matters of the fellowship. For more information, please contact [email protected]

Building & Grounds Team

The Building & Grounds Team works to maintain our building and grounds with a dedicated group of volunteers who do quarterly maintenance and weekly yard work. Twice a year the group organizes work days in the spring and fall which are included on the fellowship’s schedule. For more information or to volunteer, please contact [email protected]

Pastoral Care Team

The Pastoral Care Team responds to those in need and works with the minister as needed to address requests for pastoral care. To volunteer for the team or to request pastoral care, contact [email protected]

Digital Communication Team

The Digital Communication Team (DCT) works with the minister, lay leaders and church teams and groups to ensure proper and timely messaging on congregation social media, website and video sharing sites. The team meets once a month. The time commitment varies based on your level of participation.
