Sunday Services at 9:30 am and 11:30 am

DUUF sponsors a great many interest groups to serve our members’ need for deepening spiritual roots and expanding connections to one another.

Book Group: A Chosen Faith

Tuesdays, 9/24 through 11/5, 5:30 – 7:00 pm. If you’d like to dig a little more deeply into UU values and principles, join us as we explore the Unitarian Universalist faith through a new book club. Whether you were raised a UU or just wandered in last week, this group will have something for you. We will gather to share ideas and fellowship at 5:30 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday evenings (for eight weeks) using A Chosen Faith, An Introduction to Unitarian Universalism by John A. Buehrens and Forrest Church to guide our conversations. We’re expecting to share 90 minutes of inquiry, discussion–and maybe even a few laughs—every week. Questions: Contact Barb Rodman or Kim Pearson or email

Craft Guild
DUUF Craft Guild is an opportunity for DUUF and Denton-area community members to craft together on the fourth Friday of the month. Individuals bring their own supplies for whatever they want to make—quilting, sewing, knitting, felting, appliqué, crafting with paper, scrapbooking, etc. Childcare is provided. Bring a snack to share if you would like. This is a place for camaraderie rather than a space with official teaching demos, but those with expertise to share or curiosity to express are welcome to do so.

Denton UU Vegans
DUUV is a group of vegetarian and vegan Unitarian Universalists who aim to live more compassionately in observance of the 1st and 7th UU principles. A community meal is hosted at DUUF every 3rd Friday of the month from 6-7:30 pm. The theme changes monthly. DUUV provides the main dish and everyone is welcome to bring a topping, side, or dessert to share. All are welcome. Vegan food only, please! Questions? Contact See
