Please join us this Sunday, February 20, at 2 pm, for the formation of a new DUUF Social Justice Team! The meeting will be on Zoom. The purpose of this group is to educate, enlighten, and raise awareness among DUUF members and friends about social justice issues and thereby break down walls, embrace differences, facilitate personal and spiritual growth, and expand our culture of deep learning at DUUF.
Social justice encompasses a wide range of issues, including reproductive rights, criminal justice, health care, environmental protection, racial justice, educational equality, gender equality, voting equality, religious inclusivity, housing equality, ability justice, immigration, and international justice. In the first meeting we will share our interests and seek ways to connect with the work of others in DUUF and our community. This group will meet monthly and develop a focus for our work in the upcoming months.
