Racial Healing Handbook: Practical Activities to Help You Challenge Privilege, Confront Systemic Racism, and Engage in Collective Healing

Our new DUUF book study of the Racial Healing Handbook will focus on
developing our skills for racial healing. We will look closely at the impacts of
racism and healing strategies for ourselves and our community.

This book group will meet every Saturday beginning on March 4, 2023 from
3-4:30 pm on zoom. We will meet for 12 Saturdays and conclude on May 6. We
will select one week for a break due to Spring Break.

We will discuss our readings and apply them to ourselves and people and groups
we encounter. By developing close connections with one another in this group
we can share our real-life challenges with racism, further develop our own racial
identity, and examine how we can work towards racial justice. Our work together
will be guided by our Covenant which includes confidentiality.
